Born in Decatur, Georgia, Danielle Jackman was raised in a household with her parents, grandmother, and three older sisters. Parents Trevor and Carol Jackman, who both immigrated to the United States from Guyana, encouraged Danielle and her sisters to pursue only what they loved, set goals, and work hard for those goals.

Danielle found her love for performing when she joined her elementary school’s chorus. She went on to attended DeKalb School of the Arts, a performing arts high school near Atlanta, where she studied dance, music, and acting.

She graduated from Columbia College Chicago with B.A. degree in Musical Theatre and a minor in Dance. Since then, she has performed professionally with companies such as Goodspeed Opera House, Sharon Playhouse, Paramount Theatre Aurora, Marriott Theatre Lincolnshire, Drury Lane Oakbrook, and more.

When Danielle is not performing, she enjoys teaching dance classes to youth groups  ages 3-18, as well as tap classes for adults. She currently resides in New Jersey, and commutes daily to New York City for all of her artistic adventures.
